Platypus Systems was established in September 1997 as a partnership. Although the business specialised in developing custom built client management systems, it also provided a variety of Information Technology (IT) support services.

In November 2001 Platypus Systems changed its operating structure to a propriety limited company. The main focus of the company has returned to custom built software development, although other IT related services are still provided.

Platypus Systems Pty Ltd is company that is committed to continuing and building on the success of the original partnership. This success has been obtained through individual and combined experiences, the ability to continuously expand staff knowledge and experience and by keeping up to date with the latest techniques and technologies.
